What is a parent account?
The goHenry parent account is the account you use to manage your parental controls and pay your children allowance, set tasks, make-one off money transfers to your children’s cards and follow your child’s progress.
Your children’s accounts are sub- accounts linked to your account. You and your children each get your own username and password to login into your accounts with. In order to keep your children’s cards funded you have to fund your parent account using your debit card.
When you load money on to goHenry through your debit card, it will first go into your parent account. From there you can chose how to give your children money – you can set an automatic allowance or make one-off transfers.
If you chose to set tasks for your children when they complete them the money will transfer from your parent account onto their cards. It’s all designed to make managing money really easy and flexible for you.
